Yamaha in our opinion probably the best bikes ever made from the eighties! the legendary RDs the bikes all the others tried desperately to copy. These machines are made to last but sometimes things can go wrong and bits will need replacing and having been the proud owner quite a few of these bikes i know it's best to replace with Yamaha Genuine Parts there is no other way the pattern parts will degrade quickly and in the long run ends up costing more as you will keep having to replace them when they start to go again, so just replace with Genuine, and just to extend the lives that bit more we have stated to strip some of the new parts and re zinc them but for a longer time than the factory originaly! and on to the polisher which as you can see from the pictures in services they come up like chrome and literally look stunning when on the bikes, like swing arm nut and clutch actuator although this one is 26 years old but looks still fantastic! and those parts have been shiny like this for a couple of months, only small parts at the moment as we are just getting going please contact me for details.
